Located in India`s north eastern state of Assam, this place is full of exotics. Every blade of grass in Kaziranga oozes freshness.
Known for its Indian Rhinoceros or Greater One-horned Rhinoceros, it is also home to the very rare Eastern Swamp Deer. Approximately two thirds of the worlds Indian Rhinoceroses thrive here which is a testimony to the fact that great conservation efforts for these creatures have been implemented.
Kaziranga supposedly boasts of a high density of Tigers, Elephants and Wild Water Buffalos. Out of the 35 mammalian species found in the park at least 15 are threatened as per the IUCN Red List.
The habitat is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers. This makes Kaziranga a true jewel in India`s northeastern necklace and its ravishing beauty could only be imagined after one pays a visit to this pristine green heaven.
So come join us to visit this land of exotics!!
