Located in the same vicinity of the Thoseghar waterfall, the Vajrai waterfall matches its bigger counterpart penny for penny! If Thoseghar is one of the tallest waterfalls in India, the Vajrai takes over as being even more spectacular.
This place offers you the utmost serenity, and a Natural lover from this part of the world should have visited this once in a lifetime. Standing tall at around 260M (approx 850 ft) this is one hell of a roaring marvel.
It is also the starting point of the Urmodi river on which Urmodi Dam Project is situated, the main reason for this is, Vajrai is a perennial source of water and one would hardly find a day with no water!
Legend has it that, the great marathi Saint Samarth Ramdas Swami had climbed the mountain in 3 footsteps and that is the reason why the perfectly vertical waterfall mountain is converted into three stair waterfall mountain.
All and all this yet another specimen of Mother Nature`s beauty located in a region if heavy downpour during the Monsoon is worth ticking off from every adventurer`s list!!!
